It does not govern websites, load boards, brokers, payment processors, communication platforms, or other services that are independently operated by third parties. Their own policies control their handling of information.

  • Service information, such as load preferences, broker communications, rate confirmations, pickup and delivery details, routes, accessorial requests, tracking information, invoice status, documents, support requests, and other records needed to provide authorized dispatch support.

  • Billing and transaction information, such as billing contacts, invoices, payment status, and limited transaction details. A payment processor may collect bank-account or card information directly under its own privacy policy.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the website, we and our website provider may collect your IP address, approximate location derived from the IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, dates and times, clicks, scrolling, searches, and cookie or similar identifiers. The Cookie and Website Data Policy explains these technologies and your choices.

Information From Other Sources

We may receive information from a carrier or its authorized representative, drivers and emergency contacts identified by the carrier, brokers, load boards, public FMCSA records, insurers, factoring or payment services used by the carrier, and vendors that support our business. We use information from those sources only for the purposes described in this Policy and the applicable service agreement.

3. How We Use Information

  • Provide carrier-directed dispatch support, including load searches, rate negotiation support, broker communication, paperwork assistance, tracking coordination, invoice follow-up, reminders, and customer support.

  • Authenticate users, maintain records, administer accounts or portals when offered, and protect our systems, clients, personnel, and business.

  • Process invoices and payments, maintain transaction records, and address payment questions or disputes.

  • Send service, informational, conversational, and promotional communications as permitted by law and consistent with your choices.

  • Measure website traffic, troubleshoot performance, improve the website and services, and understand how visitors use the site.

  • Prevent fraud, misuse, cargo theft, unauthorized access, and other illegal or harmful conduct.

  • Comply with law, lawful requests, contracts, audits, insurance requirements, recordkeeping obligations, and legal proceedings.

4. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers. We may use providers for website hosting and forms, CRM or TMS functions, cloud storage, electronic signatures, communications and SMS, payments, analytics, cybersecurity, accounting, and professional support. They may use information only to perform services for us or as otherwise permitted by their own notices and applicable law.

  • Authorized dispatch activity. Under a written carrier appointment and the carrier's instructions, we may disclose information to brokers, load boards, insurers, payment or factoring providers selected by the carrier, and other parties reasonably necessary for a carrier-approved load or service task.

  • Legal and safety purposes. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process; protect rights, safety, property, cargo, or systems; investigate fraud or misuse; or enforce an agreement.

  • Business transaction. Information may be reviewed or transferred as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

  • At your direction. We may disclose information when you ask us to do so or give consent.

MegaMum does not currently sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will update this Policy and provide any legally required choice before changing that practice.

5. SMS and Mobile Information

SMS participation is optional. No mobile information, mobile opt-in data, or text-message consent will be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may disclose this information to communication providers and other service providers solely to transmit messages, manage consent and opt-outs, prevent fraud, provide support, or comply with law. Those providers may not use the information for their own marketing.

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to a MegaMum text. You may also make a reasonable opt-out request by contacting us at info@megamumsolutions.biz or 833-442-3123. Reply HELP for help. 6. Cookies and Analytics

Squarespace hosts the website and uses necessary cookies to deliver and secure it. Analytics or performance cookies are used only in accordance with the cookie banner and applicable consent requirements. We do not activate advertising or cross-site targeting cookies unless they are identified in the banner and the visitor is given any legally required choice. See the Cookie and Website Data Policy for details.

7. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to an inquiry, provide services, maintain business and tax records, enforce agreements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and comply with law. Retention periods vary by the type of record and the reason it is held. We may keep SMS consent and opt-out records after messages stop so we can document consent, honor suppression preferences, and demonstrate compliance. We securely delete, de-identify, or restrict information when it is no longer required, subject to technical and legal limitations.

8. Information Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information, including access controls, role-based permissions where available, confidentiality requirements, and secure service providers. No website, email, transmission, or storage system is completely secure. You should use the secure submission method we designate for sensitive documents and promptly tell us if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the message and may opt out of SMS as described above. You can control cookies through the website banner and browser settings.

Depending on where you live and whether a privacy law applies to MegaMum, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of personal information; obtain information about disclosures; opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling; and appeal a denied request. MegaMum does not discriminate against anyone for exercising an applicable privacy right.

To submit a request, email info@megamumsolutions.biz with the subject "Privacy Request" or write to the mailing address below. Describe the request and the information or relationship involved. We may verify your identity and authority before responding. Applicable law may permit or require us to deny, limit, or retain information. An authorized agent may submit a request when legally permitted and when authority can be verified.

10. Children

The website and services are intended for business users and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from a child under 13. If you believe a child submitted information, contact us so we can review and delete it when required.

11. Processing Locations and Third Party Services

MegaMum, its authorized personnel, and its service providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Privacy and data-protection rules may differ in those locations. We limit access according to business need and use contractual, confidentiality, and security measures appropriate to the relationship.

The website may link to or integrate services we do not control. Review the privacy terms of a broker, load board, payment processor, social network, map, video, or other third-party service before providing information to it.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this Policy when our practices, services, providers, or legal obligations change. The updated version will be posted with a new effective date. When required, we will provide additional notice or request consent before a material change takes effect.
